Work Process
Brief
Promotional video for an electrical off-roading car whose target audience is Gen-Z 7 years from now, with an established career and life.
Research
Step 1: Identify keywords: freedom, autonomy, voyager, sustainability.
Step 2: Define freedom for Gen-Z through survey research.
Step 3: Takeaways from the survey.
Step 4: Use takeaways to come up with the final concept: Daydreaming of Freedom - Reverie.
Concept
Based on the concept, we analyzed and showcased the three acts of the story, placing each in a different scene.
ACT 01: TYR is transported into a limitless world through a daydream, searching for its own version of freedom.
ACT 02: TYR wakes from the daydream in a hollow industrial place, ready to drive out into the space that leads to freedom, moving from surreal landscapes into a more realistic environment.
ACT 03: After waking from the daydream, TYR is fueled with inspiration to find its own version of freedom.
Concept
The three acts, each placed in its own scene.

Storyboard
Shot planning across the three acts, placing each in its own scene.

Before and After
Environment shots moving from blockout and greybox to fully lit, textured, and rendered frames.
Animation Test

Final Scene
These are the final scenes I worked on.
